Woodburn Laboratory is a newly remodeled turnkey facility located in the Midwest. We provide full-service care of your research animals, including state-of-the-art caging systems by Innovive, and access to procedure rooms, a surgery room, a cognitive and behavioral testing room, accessible WiFi, and a computer station. Our in-house ACUC committee, licensed veterinarians with over 50 years of combined experience, and certified animal care staff provide the vivarium services you require from basic housing and husbandry through conducting full studies.
Woodburn Laboratory has expanded its facility to support experiments requiring germ-free (without bacteria, fungi, and exogenous viruses) and gnotobiotic (“known microbiota”) mice. Our BSL2 facility supports studies involving cancer models, basic phenotypic research of specific microorganisms as well as other experiments that depend on a tightly controlled microbiome. Our facility can accommodate a wide variety of rodents and study paradigms including models of cancer, pre-clinical testing of small molecules, vaccines, biologics and antibodies, or simply the maintenance or re-establishment of your colony.
